En el grupo se diseñan y sintetizan anfitriones de este tipo para evaluar su capacidad de acomplejamiento frente a solutos de interés farmacéutico y medioambiental.

Among the possibilities that resorcinarenes offer, as well as the pirogalolarenes, the formation of inclusion complexes stands out. Within the group, resorcinarenes are designed and synthesized to be host molecules. This is done with the aim of evaluating the possibility of complexation of solutes that are environmentally relevant or of pharmaceutical interest.
